A Walk Down the Aisle With a Smile is a yearly event presented by Stan Hywet. The event essentially kicks off the Manor's wedding season. It's a thorough presentation put on by two of the industries most knowledgeable wedding planners, Sharon Hershey and John Tedesco.
Sharon and John have both been with Stan Hywet for a number of years. Though both of them have vastly different experiences that lead them to Stan Hywet's wedding team. This creates a diverse and well rounded team.
John and Sharon use their years in the industry to put on a great presentation that goes beyond the trends of weddings. The wedding industry is one of the absolute biggest industries in the country. The average low-end wedding costs $25,000. This is not only the "biggest day of your life", but also a huge expensive. Sharon and John worked together to craft a well-rounded presentation about throwing a wedding.
The event provided historical information about Stan Hywet, where the weddings can take place (there are two indoor locations and multiple outdoor locations), and how Pinterest weddings aren't exactly realistic. The Pinterest Generation is leading future brides down an unrealistic path.
The event is to help future brides think about the in's and out's of planning a wedding. This was the most important aspect of it. It was enlightening without pushing Stan Hywet as a venue. It really was an event for any and all brides.
